Mary Poppins Themed WeddingSupercallifragilisticexpialidocious"With the recent announcement of a modern day Mary Poppins it couldn't be more fitting for this modern day Mary Poppins styled wedding shoot. We started with the beautiful and historic colonial setting at Mimslyn Inn in Luray, Virginia and finished at a local rural family farm called Down Home on the Farm where they house a Carousel that is seasonally used for their fall festivities.
We wanted to embody the unique and quirky personality of Mary Poppins while including all of fan favorites; two puppy penguins, kite place cards for the Bride and Groom, umbrellas to help the bride and groom travel with the wind during sunset, the painting displayed on the cake just as on the sidewalk in the movie, a beautiful floral adorned bonnet, and many more magical details.
